Saskia Morris (she/her) is a contemporary artist currently practising on Ngunnawal & Ngambri Country, Australia.

Saskia’s work examines how social and technological advancements distort and amplify our sense of self and our place in society.  To do this, she works with a variety of reproduction apparatus that record and reposition the image and voice.

Saskia was the 2021 recipient of the Gray Smith and Joan Scott Prize and an ANU College of Arts & Social Sciences Honours Scholarship. She graduated from the Printmedia + Drawing workshop of the Australian National University’s School of Art and Design in 2019. She holds a Bachelors of Arts, majoring in English Literature and Art History also from ANU.

Saskia also works to further diversity and inclusiveness in creative workshops and MakerSpaces.
